Principal accountabilities

  • Assisting in the preparation and refinishing of simultaneous vehicle repairs in an effective and intelligent manner, managing to deadlines
  • Repairing scratches and minor dents
  • All aspects of vehicle prepping including filling, sanding, priming, wet and dry flatting and masking
  • Develop good working relationships with all members of the workshop team

Knowledge, skills & experience

  • Experience of vehicle preparation
  • Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle bodywork
  • Experience of working in automotive workshop environment

Personal attributes

  • Team player
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Well organised with strong prioritisation skills
  • Capable of taking initiative and working autonomously

Working hours

  • Working hours will be Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays), 6am to 4pm, with a 30 minute paid lunch break

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Car Valeter to join our team in Chichester.

This role involves various aspects of professional valeting to primarily accident and repair vehicles. Experience in a similar position, a professional attitude, a keen eye for detail and able to demonstrate the ability to work on your own is essential. You must  also hold a full clean driving licence.
