  • Do you provide a warranty on your repairs?

    Yes, we offer a lifetime warranty on all our repairs for as long as you own the vehicle. This warranty covers workmanship and materials used in the repair process. Any fault with a replacement part will fall in line with the specific part manufacturer.

  • Are all parts replaced genuine(OE) and from the manufacturer?

    It all depends on the age of the vehicle and what insurance company you are with. Our repair process and use of parts are in strict accordance with your insurance company guidelines and we are audited by BSI (British standards institution ) As with anything if you are ever in any doubt just ask but below is a bit of information on the parts we use.

OE and Green parts

  • What are OE parts?

    OE (Original Equipment) parts are components that are made by the vehicle’s manufacturer or a designated supplier. These parts are identical to the components originally installed on the vehicle when it was first built.

  • What are Non-OE parts?

    Non-OE parts, also known as aftermarket parts, are manufactured by companies other than the vehicle's original maker. They are designed to function the same as OE parts but are usually less expensive.

  • What are Green parts?

    Green parts are recycled or refurbished parts salvaged from other vehicles. These parts are considered environmentally friendly because they reduce the need for new manufacturing and decrease waste.

Insurance and Payment

  • Will my insurance cover the cost of repairs?

    Coverage depends on your insurance policy. We can provide an estimate that you can submit to your insurance company for approval. It is best to check with your insurance provider for specific coverage details.

Estimate and Repair Process

  • How do I get an estimate for my vehicle repair?

    You can request an estimate by visiting our centre or scheduling an appointment. Our qualified VDA’s ( Vehicle damage assessors )will inspect your vehicle and provide a detailed estimate, however please note there is a small nonprofit charge for the initial assessment of your vehicle. This is purely to cover the costs involved of creating an accurate detailed estimate for your exact vehicle via an Insurance recognised and approved estimating system. Should you choose to book your vehicle in the costs will be deducted off your final invoice once repairs have been completed.

  • How long will the repair process take?

    The time required for repairs depends on the extent of the damage. We will provide an estimated completion time once we have assessed the damage. We strive to complete repairs as quickly as possible.

  • Am I entitled to a courtesy car while my vehicle is being repaired?

    This depends on your policy however if your policy states that you are eligible for a courtesy car and once a DVLA licence check has been completed Chichester Cars will supply you with a courtesy vehicle. Please note this is unlikely to be a like for like vehicle and availability can be affected by work flow.

  • How do you ensure an exact colour match for my vehicle?

    We use advanced computerised paint matching technology along with the vehicle manufacturer’s paint code to ensure an exact match. Our skilled technicians mix the paint precisely to match your vehicle’s original colour.
